Research

The focus of the Williams MEC Lab is to develop and use reconstructions of environmental variability to distinguish naturally-caused from human-caused changes.  With this information, we can inform future changes in our planet.

To do this,  I use geochemical and sclerochronological techniques to generate the environmental reconstructions from marine proxy archives. The major themes in my research:
